Whitney Iles
Hi, I’m Whitney. I’m a nutritional therapist and integrated sports nutritionist with a specialism in trauma and neurodivergence. I work one-to-one with clients, particularly women who have experienced trauma or who are neurodivergent, as well as delivering webinars and training for professionals who want to deepen their understanding of the mind–body connection.
My approach is a unique blend of nutritional therapy and psychodynamic thinking, a combination that has evolved over my 20 years of experience in front-facing roles. This blend, honed through my work with individuals, communities, and organisations affected by trauma, violence, and systemic harm, is what sets my practice apart. My training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic, coupled with extensive work in racial and social justice, informs the way I support people today. I recognise that trauma is not only embodied within our own being but also within the social context in which it is experienced.
I studied Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, and hold a MSc in the Political Economy of Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS, as well as a PostGrad diploma in the Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health from KCL. I am currently studying for a diploma in Integrated Sports Nutrition through CISN. This mix of clinical training, academic study, and lived practice allows me to bring a unique perspective to my work, connecting the dots between how systemic harm impacts the nervous system, digestion, hormones, and overall resilience.
Through my webinars, I create spaces for practitioners and individuals to explore topics like trauma, neurodivergence, and the ways nutrition can support emotional regulation, energy, and long-term wellbeing. My aim is to help people understand themselves more deeply and to offer practical tools and knowledge that sustain both personal health and professional practice, empowering people to make informed decisions and take control of their health.
