We are the first cancer/oncology academy in Wales. Education is where it all begins and is the pathway to better practice, patient outcomes, and up-to-date workforces. The Velindre Oncology Academy aims to establish a National Standard setting Oncology Academy, providing accredited non-surgical education, training and upskilling to the workforce across Wales. Education via the Academy will build upon existing education and knowledge by providing courses, educational sessions, skills training, and upskilling.
