The Japanese Paper Place

The Japanese Paper Place

For more than 40 years, The Japanese Paper Place has imported fine paper and paper-related products from Japan for international distribution. We carry an exceptional selection of washi (Japanese Paper) suitable for all paper-based art forms, especially printmaking, bookbinding, and conservation as well as crafting, card making, and origami. Our workshops provide participants with opportunities to explore the use of Japanese paper in a variety of art forms and craft applications. We focus on the user who is new to Japanese paper, but welcome artists and makers of all experience levels to join us and engage in activities that will inspire their practice while expanding their skills and knowledge of Japanese paper.
