Take Action Group

The Take Action Group (TAG) was formed by a group of former and current field workers with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) to improve the situation of migrants and refugees in the UK and to advocate for compassionate policies for refugees and migrants in the UK.

TAG hosts information nights that aim to inform people about policies and practice affecting migrants and refugees and to provide them with the information and tools they need to make a difference.

TAG also provide psychological first aid (PFA) training to people volunteering to support immigration detainees and asylum seekers living in contingency accommodation. This training is based on the WHO model and designed by mental health professionals who have worked with refugees around the world with MSF and who have direct experience supporting detainees and asylum seekers.
