Shaldon Pottery Studio

Welcome to my page!

My name is Tina Hill-Art and I'm a sculptural ceramicist working from an estuary-side studio in Shaldon. My work is in several Devon galleries and I am an active member of both the West Country Potters Association & The Devon Artist Network.

I hand-build forms and figurative /sculptural items using traditional sculpting, slab or coiled clay techniques and fire to high 'stoneware' temperatures. I prefer to leave sections unglazed, or decorate with matte tactile finishes reflecting the surrounding natural land and seascapes.

I run small group pottery experience sessions in the lovely coastal village of Shaldon, and organise the annual Shaldon Pottery Fair (You can find me on Instagram & F/b: @shaldonpotterystudio & @shaldonpotteryfair)
