Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre

Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre is based at Thornby Hall, just off the M1 and M6 with easy access to the Midlands and only 90 minutes from London. Historic Thornby Hall is a 17th Century Grade 2 listed Jacobean mansion set in spectacular countryside with beautiful gardens and extensive grounds, including woodland and a lake. Thornby is a sleepy village in historic Northamptonshire, 5 minutes away from the location of the Battle of Naseby. Thornby Hall is a perfect location for relaxation, reflection, meditation and mindfulness events.

We offer a variety of introductory meditation and mindfulness classes, meditation retreats, one-day meditation workshops, art courses, in-depth study programmes and special events. There is something for everyone – both beginners and more experienced meditators.

Our meditation courses and classes are open to everyone, whatever level of interest or experience, and give people the opportunity to learn more about meditation, Buddhism, and finding peace & happiness from within. Our beginners' classes include guided meditations, a short practical talk about how to use meditation to solve daily problems, and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss over light refreshments.
