Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership

Through a cooperative partnership, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the Minnesota Department of Revenue, and the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association present employment tax information for small businesses free of charge at workshops which are held at convenient locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. Topics presented in the "Employment Taxes and Employer Responsibilities" seminar include: State and Federal Withholding and UI Taxes, Workers' Compensation Insurance Requirements, New Hire Reporting, and a presentation on Independent Contractor vs. Employee status.
