LUSH Valley Food Action Society

Since the year 2000, LUSH Valley Food Action Society has been working across the Comox Valley to help people gain food systems skills, increase access to healthy food and address food insecurity. LUSH Valley sees good food as a vehicle for empowerment, social justice, celebration and community well being. The organization is recognized by Community Food Centers Canada as a Good Food Organization, and by Island Health as a Food Security Hub. By collaborating with diverse partners and countless volunteers, LUSH Valley works towards towards a food secure future for our community.

Vision: Where healthy, local food is at the heart of our community well-being. Mission: Supporting the Comox Valley community to gain food systems tools, engage in just and resilient local food systems, and receive equitable access to nourishing food.
