KIDS

Family Support Online is a service provided by KIDS for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Our Group Workshops cover a wide range of the topics; led by our experienced, knowledgeable Family Support Specialists, the sessions are designed to help parents and carers better understand their children's differences so they can determine the best ways to give or find support, with information sharing, opportunities for discussion and a place for questions.

Workshops are 2 or 3 hours long depending on which one you choose; they are delivered on Microsoft Teams.

This online service is currently being trialed by KIDS in response to families telling us they want direct access to professionals with expertise in surrounding children and young people with SEND. We also offers 1:1 sessions with our Family Support Specialist Advisors (see familysupport.kids.org.uk).

KIDS is a charity founded in 1970, providing a wide range of services to disabled children, young people and their families across England. We support children from babies through to young adults, whatever their disability.
