The Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI) is all about LIBERTY – Economic Liberty and Individual Liberty. We teach the principles of liberty to the American People, we leverage the principles of liberty to innovate solutions to public policy problems, and we advocate the full application of liberty as secured in the Constitution to everyday life. Because liberty is the most successful idea in human history and has made America the most successful nation on Earth, IPI functions as an “IdeaFactory for Liberty.” Nothing is more important than IPI’s focus on liberty for all Americans to reach their fullest potential, both today and for future generations.

IPI is unique in our ability to translate complicated policy issues into language that is easily accessible to the average person and even to students. Since our founding in 1987, IPI has remained a safe 1,000 miles from Washington DC so our focus remains on informing and equipping the American people rather than federal bureaucrats. And we pursue our policy priorities at not only the federal level but also the state and even local levels.

Though published op/eds, short policy papers, email commentary, media appearances, events, briefings and podcasts we leverage our policy expertise and help Americans become better informed and thus better engaged citizens and voters. And through our thought leadership on Capitol Hill and in state capitals, we help guide constitutional, free market policy solutions and push back on the utopian schemes and delusions of Big Government progressives.
