In Bloom Wellbeing

Hello, I am Tara, the founder of In Bloom Wellbeing & Ikebana Teacher of Sogetsu School of Ikebana Japan. My Flower Name in Japanese is Eiyu which means elegance & brave leader; a mark of recognition given after many years of training & commitment to the practice of Ikebana.

Ikebana is a minimalist Japanese art form of flower arrangement. This serene and time-honoured tradition has been practiced for centuries by Buddhist monks and even Samurai warriors. It is a powerful way to connect with nature and yourself as well as socially in my very relaxed workshops. It is the aspiration of In Bloom Wellbeing to give people the opportunity to learn about this unique art form, connect with nature through all kinds of botanical material, spark your inate creativity and socially bring harmony, simplicity and the beauty of Ikebana into your everyday life.

In Bloom Wellbeing offer workshops, events, demonstrations at unique venues across London and the home counties - from private, group and individual activities to corporate team-building and wellness events. Ikebana creation is a great exercise for the mind quickly helping with relaxation whilst creating stunning arrangements using natural and sustainable materials. Regular classes and taster classes are available requiring no experience. Please enquire for more information.
