The Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts is a non-profit organization established in 1989 based in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Some of its main objectives are to promote Asian culture and artists through music and performing arts, and to provide opportunities to young artists.

As of Aug 2024, the Foundation has presented over 155 concerts at major venues including Boston’s Symphony Hall, NEC's Jordan Hall and Williams Hall, Harvard’s Sanders Theatre, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Calderwood Hall, and New York’s Carnegie Hall featuring renowned Asian musicians. Recent performances have presented pianists Fou Ts’ong, Cheng-Zong Yin, Pi-Hsien Chen, Hung-Kuan Chen, Dang Thai Son, Meng-Chieh Liu, Minsoo Sohn, Bruce Brubaker, Ning An, Tian Ying, J.Y. Song, Peng Peng Gong, Chu-Fang Huang, Helen Huang, George Li, Nobuyuki Tsujii, Ya-Fei Chuang, Sean Chen, Jue Wang, Sa Chen, Beatrice Long duo, Haochen Zhang, Eric Lu, Helen Huang, Daniel Hsu, Gloria Chien, Evren Ozel, Kate Liu, Xiaopei Xu, Marc Ponthus, Larry Weng, Chi Wei Lo, Andrew Li, Henry Kramer, Juho Pohjonen, J J Bui, Andrew Hsu, Sergey Schepkin, Kuok-Wai Lio, Sahun Sam Hong, Victor Rosenbaum, Yinfei Wang, Zhiye Lin, Xun Pan, Han Chen, Yutong Sun, Chelsea Guo, Nan Ni, Yukiko Sekino, and Adria Ye ; violinists Cho-Liang Lin, Lynn Chang, Nai-Yuan Hu, Chuan-Yun Li, Joseph Lin, Bin Huang, Feng Ning, Paul Huang, Angelo Xiang Yu, Soovin Kim, Stella Chen, Rose Hsien, Inmo Yang, Jean Huang, Luke Hsu, and Max Tan ; cellists: Yo Yo Ma, Bion Tsang, Hei-Ye Ni, Wendy Law, Sam Ou, Carol Ou, Brannon Cho, Clive Greensmith, Nan-cheng Chen, Nathan Vickery, Zachary Mowitz, and Leland Ko; And: DaXun Zhang, Hsin-Yun Huang, Pius Cheung, Wu Man, Yazhi Guo, Tan Dun, Bright Sheng, Chen Yi, Zhou Long, Yang Yong, Lan Shui, Xu Ke, Guang Yang, The Shanghai Quartet, The Borromeo String Quartet, the Forbidden City Chamber Orchestra, the U-Theatre, Han-Tang Yuefu Ensemble, Nai Ni Chen Dance Company, Ju Tzong-Ching Percussion Group, Taipei Sinfonietta Orchestra, Guang Zhou Symphony Orchestra, New Asia Chamber Music Society, the Ying Quartet, the Parker Quartet, Mercury Orchestra, and others, to critical acclaim.

The Foundation also presents the Summer Free Concert Series at NEC and Fou Ts’ong International concerto competition, the Summer Music Festival at Walnut Hill (1990-2018) presenting more than 20 concerts each summer (Lang Lang 郎朗,Yeol Eum Son, Kate Liu, Eric Lu and many other talents were students of this program); the All-American Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy Competition (since 1991), the Youth Poetry in Silk and Bamboo Chinese Music Audition and Concerts (2008-2017); and other recitals with renowned Chinese traditional instrumentalists.
