COSMODA: Cosplay Runway is the brainchild of two visionaries: Daniel Hort, the unseen force and connector behind groundbreaking, boundary-pushing projects in art and comics, and Catherine Schuller-Gruenwald, who is equally no stranger to the cutting edge. Catherine, fashion trailblazer and body diversity advocate, was one of the first full-figured models at the world’s first and preeminent modeling agencies. Schuller-Gruenwald is the widow of the legendary Mark Gruenwald, a towering figure in the world of comics. Though Mark passed in 1996, his legacy endures as an indelible force within Marvel to this very day. His unparalleled influence on both the company and the comic industry continues to resonate, so much so that Marvel immortalized him by creating the character Mobius M. Mobius in his honor. Mark’s clone Mobius (or his variants: Ouroboros and Mr. Paradox) can be seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series Loki (2021-2023), post-credits of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
