Coldean Commons

Coldean Commons was established in 2022 to manage a small area of rare spceies rich Chalk Grassland.

This wonderful habitat is one of the rarest in the UK and needs regular managment to maintain condition.

The sessions we host involve the use of handtools to remove invasive scrub and conserve the open nature of the grassland.

We work through engagement with our local community to drive volunteer sessions.
