Brahma Kumaris Fairfield

Frequently referred to as the BKs, the Brahma Kumaris are known for the fact that they are led by women, for their practice of open-eyed meditation, and for their emphasis on self-transformation. They work for positive change at all levels of society, raising awareness of the spiritual dimension of life and its practical application – be it in personal development, in community building and for the wellbeing of our planet.

What most don’t know about the Brahma Kumaris is the base of knowledge that constitutes their foundation. Raja Yoga, the oldest meditation and the newest, is not a devotional path. It is a path of lifelong learning, study, and application in daily life in order to change the self.

The BKs have been a presence in Australia since 1975. There are centres and class locations in the major cities, as well as four large residential learning centres. They do not charge for any of their courses and activities.
