Blacktown City Council
The Sustainable Living Workshop series is an initiative of Blacktown City Council.
Program: Sign up for Binformed and GreenMoney to get great tips on living sustainably at home and be the first to be notified of upcoming events. You can also stay updated by visiting Council’s website, Eventbrite, Facebook or by signing up for our monthly sustainable living newsletter. Workshops are usually announced 6-8 weeks before they occur.
Fees: Please note that some workshops and events have a fee associated with them to cover material costs and expenses. Fees will be listed on the event page. Payment must be made online at the time of booking.
Workshop places are limited. Booking is essential. You must register to attend a workshop either via Eventbrite or by calling 9839 6055 during office hours.
Eligibility: Our workshops are heavily subsidised or provided free to residents with costs covered by our ratepayers and are open to residents of Blacktown City Council only. Unless specified, these workshops are not suitable for children under 16 years.
Workshop changes and cancellations: Some workshops may be postponed or cancelled due to low numbers or other circumstances outside of our control. If this happens you will receive an email notification. A reminder/confirmation email is sent 48 hours prior to the event to confirm the workshop is going ahead.
If you can’t attend or want to cancel your ticket: Please contact us as soon as possible so places can be offered to others on a waiting list. You can also cancel your ticket online through Eventbrite. Frequent non-attendance at events may result in events being cancelled and individual bookings being refused or given lower priority booking status.
