African Fashion Council

The African Fashion Council was established in 2021 by visionary designers driven by a desire to uplift and amplify African fashion talent on the global stage. Born from the recent spotlight on creativity flourishing across Africa and its diaspora, AFC serves as a vital hub providing designers with crucial representation, training, and resources to foster their brand growth and firmly establish their presence in the fashion world.

The African Fashion Council is a catalyst for change, disrupting the fashion industry by amplifying authentic African narratives and empowering designers to share their creativity with the world. Through our platforms and initiatives, we celebrate the rich diversity of African fashion while providing resources, mentorship, and global opportunities for emerging talent to thrive.
