ACT Health Nursing and Midwifery Office

The Nursing and Midwifery Office (NMO), ACT Health Directorate provides strategic nursing and midwifery advice on local, national and international issues to the ACT Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, ACT Health Executives and Calvary Public Hospital Bruce Executives. Their principal focus is on health policy, professional and regulatory governance, career development and workforce issues.

The team also manages strategic projects on workforce development, career advancement, scholarships, workloads, and other initiatives. The NMO researches and responds to government and non-government agencies on national and international issues on health policy, regulation and professional standards.
