Friendship AME Church

The Mission of Friendship African Methodist Episcopal Church is to establish in the hearts and minds of God's chosen an unquenchable yearning for self-development through a sustained intimate encounter with Jesus Christ. We believe knowing God for one's self is integral to winning of souls to Christ; spiritual growth; and moral secular development of all people. We teach spiritual liberation through Christian Education, Prayer, Praise, Worship, and Christian Discipleship. Friendship has pledged to invest in the future of the A.M.E. Church and our Community through:

· Concentrating on youth involvement

· Ministering to a diverse rural community

· Encouraging thrift and economic long-term development

· Feeding the hungry

· Ministering to the sick

· Clothing and housing the homeless

· Championing the cause of veterans
