Organizing an event

Copy your event

Copy your event to quickly create a new event with the same details as the previous one. To get started, choose Copy event. Then review and confirm the event details before you publish the event.

In this article

  • 1. Go to your Event Dashboard.
  • 2. Copy your event.
  • 3. Update your new event.
  • 4. Publish your new event.

1. Go to your Event Dashboard.

Log in to your Eventbrite account and go to Events. Then select your event.

2. Copy your event.

  1. Select More in the upper right corner.

  2. Select Copy event.

  3. Update the title, summary, and date and time.

  4. Select Copy event.

3. Update your new event.

Review all of your event settings, including your payout method, ticket types, and refund policy before you publish the new event. The following can't be copied and will need to be recreated in your new event:

  • Waitlist settings

  • Tracking links

  • Emails to attendees

  • Online event pages (for online events)

NOTE: Attendee details will not be copied from your old event to the new event.

4. Publish your new event.

If you’re ready to go live, select Publish and choose whether to Publish Now or Schedule Publish. If your event has more than 25 tickets and you're not subscribed to Eventbrite Pro, there will be an Organizer Fee when you publish the event.

NOTE: You can still make changes to an event after you publish. However, some items, like changing to a more restrictive refund policy, can't be done after the event is live.
