This event we are co-hosting with the founder of Kamacon, Kikuo Honda.

Kamacon started in the city of Kamakura, just outside Tokyon in Japan. It is the inspiration to our Umecom, and Honda is visiting us to tell us all about why they started and how they work.

This event will take place at The Great Hub (Kungsgatan 63D). The seats are limitied to 120 , so be sure to grab your seat before they run out! Tickets are free and we offer you a free vegan fika!

JENNIE VENNBERG - KLIMATFAKTA SOM GÖR SKILLNAD? Hur kan information och kommunikation bidra till att få fart på klimatomställningen? Behövs mer fakta, handfasta råd, eller kanske berättelser som känns långt ner i maggropen? Kommunikatören Jennie Vennberg jobbar tillsammans med sina kollegor med att utveckla hur kommunen kan få fler människor engagera sig för klimatet. På Umecom ger Jennie några exempel och vill gärna veta vad du känner och tycker.

JENNIE VENNBERG - CLIMATE FACTS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE? How can information and communication contribute to accelerating climate change? Do we need more facts, solid advice, or maybe stories that moves us deep down in the pit of our stomachs? Jennie Vennberg is a communicator at Umeå Kommun and works together with her colleagues in developing how the municipality can get more people involved in the climate issue. At Umecom, Jennie gives us some examples and would like to know what you feel and think about it.

CARINA RÖDER - MOSTER ELLAS FIKABUSS A Fika is more than a coffee break. It’s a feeling, a great way to relieve stress and socialize. Cafes in Sweden are therefore for many a second living room and a place where they meet their friends. But what happens if there is no cafe nearby or you are disabled? How then can one experience the joy and emotion of a fika? On May 17th you can find out how!

OLOV FORSGREN - SAMSKAPANDE PLATTFORM Hur kan vi inspireras av och skapa synergieffekter med andra ledande RRI-projekt i världen? Min idé är en plats (virtuell/fysisk) där vi samlar dokumentation kring olika projekt som drivs och har drivits för att utveckla vår stad. Formatet är öppet vilket innebär att alla kan kommentera såväl projekt som frågor. Syftet är att göra medborgarna mer delaktiga i stadens utveckling, få en känsla av vad som är på gång och ge en möjlighet att komma synpunkter som kan göra projekten ännu bättre och som ökar motivationen att involvera sig.

OLOV FORSGREN - CO-CREATIVE PLATFORM How can we be inspired and create synergy effects with other leading RRI projects in the world? My idea is a place (virtual/physical) where we collect documentation about various projects aiming to develop our city. The format is open, which means that everyone can comment on projects as well as ask questions. The purpouse of this platform is to make citizens more involved in the city’s development, get a sense of what’s up and provide an opportunity to come up with views that can make the projects even better and that increase the motivation to get involved.
