If you’re involved in the startup scene, anywhere in the world, we want to offer you a place to disconnect (from the hustle), connect (with likeminded people) and provide a calm, relaxing and meaningful meet-up with other startup movers and shakers. To do this, we arrange our very first maiden cruise on 18-25 May 2024. During our cruise along the Turkish Riviera, we want you to use this time to create both meaningful connections beyond the superficial "and what do you do", while also finding time for yourself and contemplation of your journey. Meditate on deck, savor a glass of Turkish tea as the morning sun paints the horizon, and take refreshing swims in the clear, turquoise waters. Every day you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders. However if you rather want to focus on yourself and find some calmness in your schedule for self-reflection and self-improvement, while still having access to an interesting group of startup people, that's also perfectly fine.

There will be plenty of time to chat and connect with the other participants over the week-long event. We hope you find unexpected insights and valuable takeaways (maybe new projects even) aboard a 24-metre (79ft) wooden, traditional Turkish gulet, with which we'll access harder-to-reach bays along the Turquoise Coast, discovering hidden anchorages perfect for snorkeling, paddle-boarding, and swimming.

As if the 10% discount wasn't good enough, we will also knock off an additional €100 from your ticket price for every friend you bring to the event. However, friends are subject to approval from us to make sure they fit the target audience.

Frequently asked questions

Is food and drinks included in this price?

As stated in our terms of service, the price you pay here is for what we call "the Attendence Part" of your booking. This secures your cabin and a seat at the dining table. The other part, the "Food Coma Part" will be paid in cash to the captain, upon boarding the yacht. The Food Coma Part is €575.

What does the Food Coma Part include?

The Food Coma Part includes breakfast, lunch and dinner from Sunday to Friday, as well as a dinner on the day of boarding and breakfast on the day of disembarkation. Along with this, unlimited snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are included throughout the event.

Why is the booking split into two parts?

As required by our service partner, the payment for the Food Coma Part can only be made in person to the yacht captain, in cash, necessitating this division of payment. However, we're discussing with our service partner and hope to remove this split for future events.

Are there any excursions planned during the trip?

We set an initial itinerary ahead of the event, but the itinerary might change due to weather conditions prior to and during the event. Chat with your fellow travellers and the captain to see what possible excursions you can do while onboard. NOTE: Any excursion fees are excluded from your booking.

Can I bring a partner?

Whether you want to bring a business partner or a romantic one, we're fine with that as long as YOU meet the requirements for the event of being in our target audience. Please note that your partner will have to buy a separate ticket.

Are there other costs related to this trip that aren't included in the booking price?

Yes. There is a culture of tipping within the yachting world, so we want to make you aware that a tip is expected from each Summit participant when disembarking from the yacht. This tip is paid in cash to the captain, who then distributes the tip to the crew. You tip the amount you feel is fair ?

Can you arrange airport transfer?

Yes we can. The fare for a one-way transfer from the Milas-Bodrum Airport to Ortakent Marina and vice versa (about 45 mins) is €75. This fare can be split among up to 3 people, so we'll try make sure you sync with other participants to split the trip and save some € as well as the environment.

If I buy a ticket but change my mind, what are my options?

Due to the highly seasonal nature of our events, and because all tickets are personal, we cannot offer either rebooking or transfer of a ticket. You'll have to cancel your ticket according to our terms.

What are your ticket cancellation terms?

If you cancel 76 days or more before the scheduled departure, a 40% refund of the ticket price is applicable, excluding the Eventbrite fee. Refund requests made 75 days or less before the scheduled departure are not eligible for any refund due to our obligations to our service provider.
