Mark your calendars for the 12th - 15th June 2024 🌞 and join us in this virtual ideation and competition event where you get the opportunity to develop solutions to problems in your city, region and country!

The EU Sparks for Climate initiative is supported by the European Commission and is aligned with the European knowledge valorisation policy and the European Missions.

A particular focus in on the Mission on Climate Neutral and Smart Cities and the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.

You can look forward to a comprehensive several day program where you will in teams develop technological and social innovation solutions in the local hackathon. Winners of this phase will receive a series of training modules focused on management, sustainability, entrepreneurship, intellectual property and many others before progressing to the final!

Each of the three winning teams in the final will be awarded 5,000€ along with tailored mentorship, crowdfunding support, investor network access, and help in scaling up their solutions.

All committed citizens, as well as researchers willing to contribute with their knowledge are welcome to participate!
