In this session, UX Designer Mariona Guiu at Bontouch, will go through the Design Process followed by a deeper dive in Prototyping.

Why use prototyping as a tool within product development? What are the benefits and what value will prototyping create depending on the needs in each project? In this session, UX Designer Mariona Guiu, will go through the Design Process followed by a deeper dive in Prototyping. You will learn the value of using prototypes depending on project needs as well as how and why designers use them as a key tool to learn about the user experiences when building a new feature. Wether is a paper mock-up or hi-fidelity video prototype, each one fulfils a duty; discovery, validation or communication. You will also learn how we create more complex prototypes to help designer and product owners sell a new concept without having to invest time and resources on creating a proof of concept.Mariona Guiu has a long experience of working as a UX Designer at Bontouch, currently within the Post-it team. In close collaboration with her team members they look for understanding the technical implications of the design process. Mariona has a diverse background in branding and strategy mixed with a passion for user and data centric products.
