On November 3 you can be the proud winner of Oracle’s OpenJDK Hackathon 2022. Implement and debug to solve challenging problems and score.

Evelyn Sokolowski, Ångströmslaboratiet

Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the world and it runs on billions of devices scaling from credit cards to multi-machine servers. Oracle is the main contributor to the Java programming language, developed through the OpenJDK project. The Oracle development office in Stockholm hosts one of the world's leading JVM development teams – it’s actually the largest of them all. In Oracle's OpenJDK Hackathon 2022 you will face a number of different real world problems from the world of JVM development. Oracle engineers will be on site to help and guide you through the JVM source code. The JVM is implemented in C++, so this will be the language of the evening. Bring your laptop and a friend – you will be working in groups of two to solve programming exercises based on actual JVM feature development and debugging. Each exercise solved will give you points, and by the end of the evening, the team with the most points will win the price.___________________________________________________________________Warm food will be served for all attendees. You will be contacted via email if you get a spot.
