Software Development Day 2021 is the 17th conference of its kind and is growing each year. From 2015 to 2016 it was close to 100 more participants. The exhibition space was fully booked several months before the conference that was held in October last year. There are eight more exhibitors in 2017 than it was in 2016 and we have therefore extended the exhibition area since 2017.
2018 there were 188 companies, organizations, and universities represented with 720 registered participants altogether. The participants were from 11 different countries mainly within Europe. In 2020 we expected to exceed these numbers, and we did in the end, but with a fully digital event because of the pandemic.
Organizations behind the event
The Lindholmen Software Development Day is a collaboration between Ericsson, Chalmers, University of Gothenburg, Halmstad University, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Cybercom, CapGemini, HiQ, Knowledge Agency, Business Region Göteborg, IBM, Swedsoft, Wireless Car, Sigma, and Lindholmen Science Park.
The event offers cutting-edge open seminars and a meeting place for industry, academia, and society. This year the conference will be digital, but nevertheless, we are proud to present outstanding speakers. For you, this means that you can participate in the online conference comfortably and securely from anywhere. The Lindholmen Software Development Day is an enabler for collaboration to bring future success in software development in Sweden.
