🌿 Join us for an intimate countryside experience at Koreanska Ladan.

We’ll start with a kimchi-making workshop and then sit down for an authentic Korean dinner consisting of a 5-tasting menu served in the garden (or inside the barn if the weather does not allow it). All dishes are prepared using ingredients available in local Swedish supermarkets (with decent Asian sortiments). Price: 1470 kr/person

Set in Österlen at Koreanska Ladan (exact location will be shared upon booking confirmation, it is located within 5 min drive from Glimmingehus), this small group workshop is about achieving authentic flavor with minimal efforts that deserves a "wow".

What should I bring?

Bring a glass jar with an air-sealable lid (75 cl to 1 liter) or any other suitable container. You can also purchase a 1-liter IKEA jar on-site.

Which language is the workshop going to be held in?

The workshop will be held in English.

I have dietary requirements. Can I still join?

Our tasting menu includes meat, fish, dairy, gluten, garlic, onion, and chilli. Please contact us before booking if you have any type of food allergies or dietary requirements. We are not a restaurant, so full customizations may not be possible.

How spicy is the Kimchi going to be?

We’ll make it close to traditional style, imagine the heat similar to regular Sriracha (not the mayo kind). If you can handle that, you’ll be fine!

When should I arrive?

Check-in starts at 14:50 and the session will start no later than 15:05. Please be on time.

Do you have any other dates?

What are the payment options?

Do you have refund policy?

All cancellations need to be made no later than 72 hours before the event start for a full refund.

Koreanska Ladan is a Korean cooking studio and seasonal kitchen in Österlen, where wind, soil, and nature remain beautifully intact. Born from a sense of longing, it offers a quiet bridge between Korea and Sweden’s east coast. A place where Korean barbecue is served with elderflower drinks, rice porridge simmers in the rice cooker, and stories are shared around the table. Rooted in Korean tradition and shaped by modern, international methods, we cook with what grows nearby — adding only a few essential Asian ingredients from the local store. Each dish is guided by intuition, seasonality, and the belief that food, when shared, can carry memory, meaning, and joy.
