ABOUT THE EVENT:
During the last decades, we have witnessed a shift in the European energy mix, with an increasing share of electricity from renewable energy. Thereby we have been more dependent on intermittent, whether-related energy sources leading to increased grid balancing challenges. As a result, electricity prices become volatile. Heat and power cogeneration is one way of establishing a more diversified energy supply. As fuel, domestically produced renewable, biomass can be used.
Can new heat and power cogeneration plants be a game changer for European countries?
Are existing plants flexible enough to profit from volatile electricity prices?
We have planned for an event with inspiring presentations and you will have the opportunity to listen to exiting innovation companies that could help transform the energy sector. And as always there will be digital mingle breaks with matchmaking.
