Welcome to Ericsson&#x27;s Supplier Climate webinar in collaboration with Exponential Roadmap Initiative.As part of Ericsson’s commitment to the 1.5°C ambition, they expect suppliers to join on this crucial journey, asking them to set a public climate target in line with 1.5°C, which translates to halving emissions by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2050 at the latest, and to take action. Ericsson started in the beginning of 2020 with 5 suppliers in scope aligned with the 1.5°C ambition, and ended in 2021 with 121 suppliers aligned. The Exponential Roadmap Initiative encourages all companies to spread the ask to all suppliers to take action to halve greenhouse gas emissions before 2030. This supports our big idea that all leading companies will follow the same trajectory to cut emissions by half at least every decade and communicate the same ask to their suppliers and customers. We can only succeed if we act together and scale this idea exponentially through value chains. This webinar is recommended for those who have not set a climate target aligned with the 1.5°C and those who would like to learn more. We will take you through Ericsson’s and ERIs expectations on supplier climate action, how you can start working to reduce emissions and highlight available support and information.
