The seminar is a cooperation between the Swedish Energy Agency’s seminar series for networking with the international work in the IETS TCP and the Swedish Consortium for Industrial Digitalization.

Background

Digitalisation and AI are important areas for achieving energy efficiency and deep decarbonisation in industry. For that reason, an international collaboration in this area started three years ago in the IETS TCP (Industrial Energy-Related Technologies and Systems Technology Collaboration Program), which is a part of IEA (International Energy Agency). The Swedish contribution in the international networking is performed through the Swedish Digitalisation Consortium, initiated by the Swedish Energy Agency, and operated by RISE. It also serves as a national networking community.

In both the international and the Swedish organisations, the main collaboration and networking areas are:

  • Methods and Applications of Digital Twins
  • Lessons Learned and Created Values by Digitalisation
  • Digitalisation Roadmap based on Best Practice

The aim is

  • To have a knowledge transfer from the activities in IETS and the Swedish consortium
  • To create more networking in Sweden
  • To discuss the Swedish contribution to international collaboration and the need for further work.

We will discuss

  • The impacts of digitalisation on energy efficiency in the industry.
  • How to measure the impact of digitalisation relevant to the IETS agenda?
  • What are the gaps and priorities on the road to creating impact?
  • What are the practical challenges for digitalisation and solution integration in the industry?

The webinar is free of charge.

Welcome!

Mehrzad Lavassani, RISE, Coordinator of the Swedish Consortium for Industrial Digitalization

Thore Berntsson, Chair of the IETS TCP
