Coaching is not a new program or another thing to add to your already busy schedule. Coaching is a shift in approach and posture in conversation and leadership. Coaching skills offer a more effective way of leading as you empower others to own their work, own and create ideas and solutions and get the work done.

The workshop is practical and interactive with lots of skills practice built in. The focus isn't on conveying information but training in techniques applicable in each of your work, ministry and leadership settings.

Not just the basics…

Based on the book, The COACH Model for Christian Leaders, this workshop is made for those who are experienced as well as those who are not-so-experienced in coaching skills.

Over the course of 6 sessions you will become familiar with the COACH Model® and use it to coach other participants. By the end of the course you will have the skills and the confidence to use coaching in your work and home contexts.

Participants can upgrade their training experience to the Coaching Workshop Certificate Program and continue training to earn a professional coach credential. The sessions each week are 3.5 hours long, split into 90 minute workshop, 30 minute break and 90 minute workshop.

FAQs:

Do I need to attend all 6 sessions?

Yes! This is a practice-oriented workshop, each session builds on the next.

If you would like ICF credit and you miss more than two sessons you will need to schedule and make these up with a facilitator at a cost of $150/ session. Please note this is only for emergency purposes. 

Location?

Online, using zoom. You will need to have internet access capable of live video streaming (preferable both downloading and uploading)‎. 

What’s your refund policy?

The ticket price includes a £50 non-refundable administrative fee. You may choose a refund of the remaining fee up to 7 days before the event. No refund will be given for cancellations received less than 7 days before the event. You may transfer tickets to another person or opt to attend a future workshop up to 48 hours before the event.

Reading the book "The COACH Model" by Keith E.Webb before attending will greatly enhance your learning and skill development during our workshop. You can purchase the book here. 

What is included in the Price?

The price includes a participant manual and coaching tools which will be sent to you electronically prior to the start. If you would prefer to receive the manual and coaching tools in a language other than English, please contact us and we can get materials to you in that language if they are available.
