Immunotherapy, stem cell therapy, regenerative medicine, immuno-oncology... you have heard it all, but do you feel equipped to move from research in to a clinical setting ? How can academic and industrial infrastructure support the production of these groundbreaking treatments?

Miltenyi Biotec and Medicon Village joins forces and invites you to a cutting edge networking meeting focussing on cell therapy translation. Experts in cell therapy translation and production will be there to tell their story and answer your questions.

We have invited Johan Flygare, Deputy director at Lund Stem Cell Center, who will present some of his ongoing work for developing a gene therapy in order to treat the rare blood disorder diamond blackfan anemia (DBA). Johan is also in charge of a new competence programme regarding ATMP development in Sweden.

In Academia more centers are being built in order to support translation from research to the clinic. In this meeting you can meet the project managers of the new Pre-GMP/ATMP Center in Lund, Elias Uhlin and Gisela Helenius, and hear more about the support they will provide.

Anne Louise Revenfeld is clinical manager at the cell therapy center in Aarhus. We have invited her for some insights on new ATMP developments in Denmark and how the support infrastructure is working out so far.

Furthermore, locally in Lund, stem cell therapy company Xintela have built their own facilities for GMP processing and ATMP production. We have invited them to show you what it really takes to work in a GMP environment with cell production. We promise a different presentation than you are used to.

Lunch, coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Directly after the event you are welcome to join us for more networking and a drink at "Science After Work".
