ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಕಾತುರದಿಂದ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುವ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬವೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಹಬ್ಬವೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ, ಕತ್ತಲಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ನೀಡಿದ ಬೆಳಕಿನ, ಅಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜ್ಞಾನದ, ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಟಶಕ್ತಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಶಿಷ್ಟಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಪರಂಪರೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಾಗಿರುವ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸೋಣ. ನಾವು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಮೆರೆದಂತೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ನಾವು ಶ್ರಮಿಸೋಣ.

ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ, ಸ್ವೀಡನ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸ್ವೀಡನ್ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ಅದ್ಭುತ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಬ್ಬದ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ವೀಡನ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಸಂಘವು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಊಟದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
