High Line Programs

If the High Line is a landmark today, much of the credit goes to the LGBTQ+ community, who encountered the structure during the 70s, 80s, and 90s, when it was hidden in plain sight.

The High Line and Zestyworld present a Pride celebration on the park for the gworls, gays, theys, and allies. Come celebrate!

Sharing stories of solidarity, overcoming barriers, and exploring what lies beyond the boundaries that divide us.

Storytellers of all ages and backgrounds will share about important cross-generational relationships in their lives in honor of PRIDE month.

PRIDE at the High Line: Transformation Stories

Join us for PRIDE at the High Line, a storytelling show about the history and the people of Chelsea.

Presented in partnership with NYC’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, Family Festival: Kidding Around Family Pride Picnic is a celebration of LGBTQ families and Pride.
Young ones and their families, caregivers, and friends are invited to a summer festival with carnival-style games, face painting, a musical performance, and so much more. Refreshments will be served.
We also invite you to RSVP for our July event! Family Festival: Young Storytellers will take place on Saturday, July 27. RSVP & learn more.
