Organizer of Long Island Roller Rebels Games
Founded in 2005, the Long Island Roller Rebels are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and proud member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), competing alongside over 360 leagues worldwide. Our mission is to promote, educate, and grow the sport of flat-track roller derby through local and travel competitions, while giving back to the Long Island community. Our league is entirely run by skaters and volunteers, with operations managed by elected officers and a board of directors. We’re supported by referees, non-skating officials, and dedicated volunteers who ensure every event runs smoothly. Funding comes from skater dues, fundraising, and ticket sales.
