Details of our 'Power into Prep' Orientation Blocks for Prep 2027 will be published here in Term 3. The confirmed dates are Monday, 12 October to Friday, 16 October (Week 2) and Monday, 30 November to Friday, 4 December (Week 9) in Term 4.

Prep 2027 Parent Information Sessions are a great way to learn about what Ferny Grove State School can offer your child as they start their schooling journey and what our 'transition and orientation' plan looks like as we start to prepare for Prep 2027.

Experience Days are a great way to start your child's Prep transition. These little play sessions are held on school grounds and starts to make the school a familiar place to be. These sessions are also hosted by teachers who will work with Prep in 2027.

An introduction to the new departmental 'Position Statement on Reading' and how best to support your child in reading.
