Dahoam1516is a nonprofit school & event venue in Alameda, California, offering hands-on brewing, cooking, gardening classes, and community experiences in a welcoming beginner-friendly space. Dahoam means “the feeling of being at home,” and that is how we want everyone to feel when they walk through our gate.We bring people together to brew, cook, grow, learn, share, and connect. From workshops to social gatherings and private events, our goal is simple: create experiences that feel approachable, authentic, and memorable.Our venue includes: Private brewhouse • Community kitchen • Gathering spaces: Friendship Garden, Biergarten & Hopfgarten • Indoor & outdoor event spacesNote: Everyone may attend classes and events regardless of age. However, we require valid 21+ age verification for alcohol consumption. Our unique, handcrafted, Bavarian-inspired beers are not available anywhere but here at Dahoam1516. We do not sell or distribute — but we “sample” liberally.
