As the flagship incubator for student startups at UC San Diego within the Office of Innovation & Commercialization, The Basement provides campus-wide access to student startups, both graduate and undergraduate in any academic discipline. Students have access to IP free incubation space, mentors, a variety of accelerator and student development programs, and other resources. Our core focus is on developing people, and we value diversity, equity and inclusion by fostering these values within our culture and curriculum.
