Terri Brodeur Foundation

The Terri Brodeur Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit based in New London, Connecticut. It was established in 2006 with a promise to commit 100 percent of gross fundraising dollars to breast cancer research.

Norma Logan and Sandy Maniscalco created the foundation and named it in honor of Terri Brodeur, a young mother who died of breast cancer in 2005. Norma died of breast cancer six months after Terri. Sandy remains an active member and serves on the Board of Directors.

The foundation has raised more than $5 million dollars and has awarded more than 50 grants to researchers in basic, pre-clinical, and clinical research who are studying a cure for breast cancer and better ways to treat the disease.

Administrative costs are either sponsor-supported or volunteer-provided.
