The National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) is a national organization led by Latino/Latina executive leaders of U.S. hospitals and healthcare organizations and experts in the fields of health care policy and practice. NALHE was founded in 2005 to increase senior-level Latino/Latina representation in hospitals and health systems in the United States. Our goal is to create a future workforce of highly talented Latino/Latina healthcare executives who can meet the challenge of delivering and improving healthcare in our diverse communities. Since 2005, we have succeeded on many fronts, including:
Significant growth of our membership network
Launching of Chapters across the country including Puerto Rico and Federal/Military
Diverse leadership Board representing key sectors of the Healthcare Industry
Launch of NALHE’s Leadership Incubator and Care Transformation Initiatives
Gaining sponsorships and partnerships from major healthcare organizations
Establishing formal collaboration with the American College of Healthcare Executives, Hospital Association/Institute for Diversity, Genentech, WittKieffer and others
Being recognized by “Modern Healthcare” for leadership excellence, including naming two Board members to the “Top 25 Minority Executives” and two Board members as “Up & Comers”
