MSP Long Term Ecological Research Program

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Urban Long Term Ecological Research Program (MSP LTER) brings together dozens of scientists from the University of Minnesota and University of St. Thomas to study how urban stressors– including climate hazards, pollutants, invasive species, habitat fragmentation– affect the ecological structure and functioning of urban nature. We aim to better understand urban nature and related policies to improve environmental outcomes for all Minneapolis and St. Paul communities.
