LFUCG & KY APEX Accelerator

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) Division of Procurement processes approximately 300 contracts, quotes, bids and requests for proposals totaling millions of dollars in purchases on an annual basis for the city of Lexington. The procurement process is inclusive of all businesses, including minority, women and veteran owned businesses for its contracts and procurements.

The mission of Kentucky APEX Accelerator is to promote Kentucky’s economic development by assisting companies who are in the process of providing products and/or services to the federal, state and local governments. Our vision is to grow Kentucky’s economy one small business at a time by coaching, equipping and training our clients on a wide range of topics related to government contracting and subcontracting. This APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
