Lasting Support Services

We understand that the care system can be a challenging and complex space for young people who have experienced trauma and adversity. We specialise in supporting organisations working with young people in care to develop culturally informed systems of dealing with trauma and adversity. To do this we use an action research approach to ensure that our direct delivery and system change work is always grounded in evidence-based practices.

Our mission is to share our change-making model with other organisations that share our goals. We do this through training, consulting, and educating multi-sector professionals. Our work provides them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions and provide the best possible care for children in care. In addition, we aim to create exemplary semi-independent homes and support lines that empower young people and inform the care sector and governments
