Declan Oceguera

Declan Oceguera is the founder of The Visionary Voyager, a Porto based company that provides historic guided tours, relocation services and community building events.

And he’s the co-author of the popular archaeology based guidebook, “Porto’s Secrets Revealed.”

Declan is a real estate agent with RE/MAX Grupo Latina in Vila Nova de Gaia specializing in helping English-speaking, foreign clients buy and sell property in Porto. Having made the transition from the United States to Porto himself, and coupled with his experience as a top real estate agent in New York City, Declan brings insight and support to those who will navigate the process of moving and acclimating to their new country.

Over the years Declan has built and launched successful businesses in several industries including video technology & production, newspaper media, real estate and he also co-founded and led the award-winning, first-ever LGBT chamber of commerce in New York City.

He is regularly invited to speak at entrepreneurial events and on travel podcasts to share his unique business, personal development and global citizen lifestyle expertise.

Declan has lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, New York City and he now happily calls Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto, Portugal) his home.
