Atelier Ainoa

Atelier Ainoa is a fairytalish ceramics studio in Zaandam, the NL, hosted by artist Sanna Pöyhönen. She first put her hands in clay as a teenager in Finland, and after 30 years is still in love with ceramics as a versatile medium for art. Through her sculptures she weaves the primal bond between humans and other nature, evoking both whimsy and depth. Her work pulses with sexuality and sensuality—not as mere themes, but as vital, life‑driving forces grounding body and spirit.
