9/11 Day

9/11 Day is the nonprofit organization that led the successful campaign to establish September 11 as a federally recognized National Day of Service and Remembrance – now the largest annual day of service in the United States. This year, we’ll host 9/11 Day Meal Packs in 24 cities, bringing together 30,000 volunteers to help pack more than 9 million meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our mission is to inspire millions of Americans to rekindle the spirit of unity and compassion that emerged after 9/11, and to perform good deeds and acts of service in tribute to the victims, survivors, first responders, and members of the military who bravely rose in service in response to the attacks.
