Greater Manchester Doulas CIC

Greater Manchester Doulas CIC is a small team of women whose passion is supporting women. We started out in 2018 (after operating privately and individually before then) working exclusively with women in the childbearing year. It soon became abundantly clear that the challenges and issues that women face in life, coupled with a lack of emotional support across the board, doesn't start or end there.

We now work with girls from age eight, and women at every age and stage of life, to help them grow in confidence, self esteem, and autonomy. We believe in the power of intuition and the strength of sisterhood. We still support pregnant and new mums no matter what, and we attend births where no medical professionals are present, but our support can now be used to process anything at all. We listen, we hold space, and we trust. Once women experience that they lean into it and magic happens.

If you want to feel seen, heard and valued, whatever is going on for you or whatever you've been through, we are here. We can have a Holding Space session, which is an hour with two doulas online or in person if you're local, and see how you feel. Or we offer more comprehensive support in the form of a three month package, where you can have unlimited sessions with as much Whatsapp support as you need in between them.

We know what women are up against, and we don't shy away from talking about difficult subjects. There's nothing too big, or too small, to bring up with us. If it matters to you it matters because you do. We treat every woman as in individual - not a patient, not her circumstances, and not her history.
