Project Piano is a Dallas-based collective dedicated to celebrating African house music — especially the sounds rising from Southern Africa.

We’re here to amplify the pulse of genres like amapiano, afrohouse, gqom, and 3-step — sounds born from township streets, backyard grooves, and deep cultural memory. Whether we’re spinning at block parties or curating intimate dance spaces, we move with purpose: to uplift the music, the culture, and the communities behind it.

At the heart of Project Piano is a love for the Black sonic lineage — connecting South Africa to Chicago, Joburg to Detroit, Soweto to the South and beyond. We're DJs, diggers, MCs, dancers, and lovers of rhythm working to build a community that dances with intention.
