Citadel Sessions is a series of free, creative events hosted at The Citadel Welcome Centre Café on Dover’s Western Heights. These relaxed, welcoming sessions are designed to bring local people together to explore history, photography, creative writing and more—while connecting with the rich heritage of the Western Heights.Citadel Sessions is a collaboration between English Heritage, Dover District Council, and The Citadel Welcome Centre Café, made possible with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund thanks to National Lottery players, the UK Government, and Historic England.Whether you're curious about local history, looking to try something new, or just fancy a chat over tea and biscuits, you're warmly invited to join us.
